I once forgot about my mother's birthday. It hadn't slipped my mind completely. I was confused, because she uses the lunar calendar. Still, I felt very bad. I called my mother and sincerely apologized. That weekend, I took her out for dinner. Another time, I received a text from a friend. It said, "Where should we meet up tonight?" However, I was already at another get-together. I had forgotten that I had promised to meet my friend that night. Thankfully, my friend is very easy-going. He accepted my apology. I took a rain check. We rescheduled for another day. Nowdays, I use a planner, So I almost never miss important dates.
